Default The painting of the hands?

My elk huntin buds and i do not like wearing gloves and never practice with gloves on. However we found that you could see hand movement quite easily from the stand. So one of the guys got the bright idea of painiting the backs of our hands in green/black/brown/grey combos. The hands became invisible in the backdrop of the forest. Just wondering if anyone else does this?

I've always done it, though I notice that it tends to rub off when you stick your hands in your pockets on colder mornings.

Hey washington, I think you would be better off to answer question entitled what DON"T you paint. I think you are the king of face paint.

You know, on those really hot September days I'll just wear a camo thongc and paint everything else.

Really helps you keep cool.

Sounds like a great idea Hiawatha. I'm going to start painting my face next year. Might have to paint my release hand too...I do wear one glove on my bowhand though.

Does it have GIT R DONE in rhinestones on it?

To get back to topic though i think its a good idea. I wear gloves and dont really have a problem wearing them but some people cant shoot with gloves on, and painting your hands would really help.

I wear glove, i have to , becasue my hands get really cold really quickly, to the point where they turn pale white, and circulation slows down. But these gloves are awsome. They even have a spot to put your release through, you can see that on the 2nd pic. And they are somewhat tight, so nothing gets hung up on them.

I have painted the back of my draw hand before. I have since just learned to practice with gloves on. My favorite are the camoskinz from cabelas. I bet I look funny during the summer shooting in shorts, a T and gloves.

A funny story, long time ago, in an early season hunt, i dropped my hunting coat from my stand once I got up there. It was hot and I didn't want to take the time to climb back down(climber) so I painted up my entire arms from the tshirt sleeve down to my wrists. [8D]

Those are nice. I wear the mossy oak bowhunting gloves that have a cut out for the release as well.
