I have yet to actually have to go on stand, but have while in a blind. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am fairly regular, so there are just certain times that I am gonna have to.

I did have to once right at the base of my stand. It was a great spot to hunt from most allways.I didn't see another deer in that location that entire few days I hunted the area.Must have been the skunk that I ate the night before as well as the Budweisers I had

You can really tell when deer season is ending. Come on September.

Seriously now, how much do you think taking one would affect seeing deer?

Personally I'd rather leave one than take one.[:'(]

I have never dropped a load from my treestand before but somebody was parked at my old property hunting without permission and I had to go. So I climbed in back of their truck, opened the sliding window all the way, flipped the seat up and dropped the bomb right behind the seat. I closed the window and left. I still get a chuckle out of that one and that's probably been 15 years ago. I would say that he remembers that too.

Had this scenario happen just this year. Climbed up in my climber well before first light and got settled in and ready and the pain struck. I would have never made it down in time and I had to go. Well, 2 layers of clothes and a safety harness later, I was painting the town brown, if you know what I mean. Had to relocate. Bad situation to be in. Bad, bad situation.
