Pictures of you in your camo

I'm looking for a new camo pattern for 2007, because I keep getting busted while ground hunting in my Mossy oak breakup. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens too much.

Does anyone have any pictures, with your deer or whatever, of your favorite camo pattern that you can post? What type is it and how well has it worked for you while being on the ground? I bowhunt so I'm talking about close proximity. Thanks in advance.

My Enigma camo, opening day of bow season.
I did not shoot any deer with my bow this year but it was my fault, not the camo.
I did shoot 2 during ML season from the ground in an open hayfield.
No cover whatsoever and I was able to reload my ML and shoot the 2nd one while it tried to figure out what I was.

You need an open pattern camo such as Enigma. Unlike Mossy Oak, which makes you look like a black blob in a tree, Enigma breaks up your outline better to blend you in to your environment. No camo is full proof, but open patterns help. You must also use scent control no matter what camo you use. I have used Mossy Oak for years, andI took a picture of my dad from a distance wearing his mossy oak break up and it looked like he was wearing a black pair of sweatpants and sweatshirt.

Here is this years buck. Camo- Predator.

Other harvests this year; Doe/turkey double same stand, minutes apart.
If you can draw on a turkey in a treestand, the camo is working. Camo- Predator

Here is another great treestand camo; Sticks and Limbs brand camo

If you are going to stricktly ground hunt; try a Double Bull blind so that you are concealed while trying to draw your bow. Double Bull blinds are the finest in the world(undisputed) and thecamo pattern on their blinds is predator also. I shot a buck while sitting on a three legged stool with no blind wearing Predator and pulled it off.

I have heard great things about ASAT as well. I have an Enigma coat and people are reporting that it is working well. I spoke with the ownerof Enigma last weekand he is changing the color as he is not happy with the green background that the current Enigma camo is. I too feel that it is too green and am anxious to see if it is more tanin thebackground like he says it is going to be. He also told me that the lightest lines that you see in it now will be black. I think it is going to look a lot more like predator.
These are my opinions only; take it or leave it.

You must not have been around lately... ;)How ya been, anyway?

I'm going to savemyself a lot of typing... Read to your heart's content! :DThere's other camo threads out there, but these contain the majority of my thoughts andI've reached a point where I just don't feel I can say anything else that I haven't already in any of these threads. From now on, this is my standard reply... :)

Here's a photo of me in my stand. I had no idea the photo was being taken.....and I have on a realtree hat, facemask, and I'm in a pine. With my Enigma camo on. This is EXACTLY why I wanted an open pattern for after leaf drop in my woods. This photo is raw...no doctoring.

And HCH.... mean NO disrespect to your turkey harvest story.....but in these parts.....the taking of a turkey from a treestand is taboo, at least. I had SIXTY-FIVE turkeys under me on Thanksgiving Day of '05. They were so loud I'd finally had enough and stood up in my stand and waved my arms at them. Still there. I stated slinging my grunt tube like a ligeguard would twirl his whistle. Still there. I finally looked for anything I could THROW at them.....and they finally scurried off....lol.

Some of the many I use and have used. Everything from Army fatiques to Treebark, leavy wear, Advantage, Skyline(Apparition, Apparition green and Horizon), Realtree and Realtree Xtra Green. Also own Mossy oak, Outfitter camo from Cabellas and a couple others. Nope, I don't own any Enigma.[8D]

I will say this if you wear a shirt like that you better be able to fill it out, LOL;)

See the deer think you have no skill when you wear camo like this, so they walk right up to you.:D

What do you guys think of Mossy Oak's new winter break-up pattern. I'm thining this will be a good treestand camo all year long unless you're in a thick pine tree.

RE: Pictures of you in your camo

Hey guys thanks for the replies. After looking at some of your pictures, I'd say I want to go with Enigma. However, Rob/PA informs me that theres is a new 3D Enigma pattern coming out very soon. I'm going to wait to see what this pattern looks like, and if it's yuck I was also impressed with ASAT's leafy suit.

Come next deer season, it's either 3D Enigma or Leafy ASAT suit for me. Thanks for all your help.
