dropping my bow, and seeing dogs out there and other things that will scare deer

The only thing that I fear is that I may have forgot to put my phone on silence.

Ducsauce, That happened to me this year. Went to shawnee for first time. Climbed up in tree before dat light. Pulled my bow up and was getting ready to grab it, off it came. It crashed to the ground. I had to work the climber back down (1st time using a climber) the tree. Reattached bow, climbed back up to about 10ft. I was drinched from sweat and[:@]. So that where I stayed. After cooling down I checked bow(with small light) looked ok. Drew it back very slowly, looking away of course, seemed ok. Ended up taking a Doe at 22 yrds about hour and a half later. So now I double check the pull rope.

Shawnee Ohio....I was there this past October but it was for a week of training with my job. Beautiful place.

Been there and done that! I mean the timing could not have been worse that unfortunate day. I was drawn on a bigger buck than the one in my avatar less than 7 yards awayand my phone starts vibrating.[:@]Thats what I get for closing the phone too quickly after powering off.

I still hate myself for that one.

The last scary thing I ran into while deer hunting was this

But the most terrifiying thing is haveing this show up under your stand opening day of season at 8am telling you the kids sick and she want you to got to the doctor with her
