What do you want to upgrade in your bowhunting / archery in 2007?

I would like to upgrade where I hunt. I like the place I'm on but it is surrounded by highly pressured properties. It is cheap and close to home so I'll likely be there again next year, but I'd like to be somewhere that has more mature deer.

More time in the woods. I just didn't get to do much this year with all the house building etc.I saved two tags to use in early bow next year in NY, plus I'll have next years tags. Probably go to Ohio for a week etc etc.

Well, this past month I got tired of procrastinating about taking up bow hunting and went and bought a bottom of the line compound. Since then I have been of course buying accessories for it. . . .new sights, rest, stablizer, arrows. I was pleased to realize that all this stuff can be used on whatever bow I may buy.
So now I'm pretty sure I will be buying a new bow before next season. Mostly I'm looking at the bows in the 500.00 range as I just ca'nt see myself spending a grand on a bow . . .yet. I was at the bow shop last week and the owner had me shoot the new Mission . . .less than 400.00, and I believe he said it was made by Mathews. Compared to the bow I'm using, it was like a dream. At least right now I'm not in a hurry and I'm determined to find a Darton dealer and check those out.
I think I'm going to like this bow hunting, and wish I had taken it up years ago. I still hav'nt taken it to a stand, although I'm pretty sure I could take a deer within 30 yds, given the right shot. I'm going to wait for the last season and try then . .see how it goes.

I received permission to hunt some great ground a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately the season is almost over and I wont have the chance to this year. I am looking forward to next year though!
Also want to try a new quiver and possibly sights this year. Thinking of trying a hip or back quiver.

Upgrade everything! Between now and the next bow season I am planning on upgrading my transportation(new Dodge Ram), Utility vehicle(new ArticCat 4x4), Bow(new Hoyt Vectrix) and a range finder!!!!

For now, everything's working fine. I will 'upgrade' by figuring a way to reduce the load in my back-pack. The weight of that along with my climber seems to be my biggest challenge since I like to pack it in a ways on public grounds.
