Hard, it is that out here. Beautiful. Big country. I live on the east side of CDA lake as a matter of fact. About 1 mile up off the lake. When I grew up here, elk hunting was the predominate creature to hunt. Everyone for the most partlooked at (whitetails/mule deer we havethem both here)as the animal to hunt, after you got your elk.

I was always just the opposite, in that I for whatever reason; Iwas fascinated by the mountain whitetails. Their ability to ghost around the mountains avoiding the heavy predation and hunters as well. So for me, the whitetail grounds of the Mid West and Canada have always captured my interest. Heck anywhere a whitetail lives interests me. Dont get me wrong though, I feel very fortunate to live and hunt thediverse selections of crittersI am affordedhere.

I'm gonna try to get out one morning this weekend, and I'm definitely taking a day off of studying on President's day and hitting the fields.
