Default antler trap

I read a post yesterday where someone made mention of setting up an antler trap to get an easier harvest of shed antlers.

Can someone now post how-to instructions for setting one up.

Thanks.

IF baiting is legal in your area it is easy. you take four stakes and put around the corn then wrap chicken wire around it and when the go under to eat the corn and come back up they hit the wire and it knowcks off their horns

I am just going to set 2x hay bales next to each other about 12" apart lengthwise and put a bunch of corn inbetween them. I know people that have had this work very very well.

I've heard of getting a 5 gallon bucket and putting some corn in it and nailing it to a tree. When they reach in, they lose their antlers if their ready.

I have seen a contraption in mags that fits on a 5 gal bucket. It has bungy cords to catch the antlers and pull them off, when the buck sticks his head in to eat. If they are not ready to fall off he just pulls out and goes on his way.
