RE: antler trap

can i get a way to see this

ORIGINAL: jmbuckhunter

I have seen a contraption in mags that fits on a 5 gal bucket. It has bungy cords to catch the antlers and pull them off, when the buck sticks his head in to eat. If they are not ready to fall off he just pulls out and goes on his way.

The one dbldrop has the link to is the one I am talking about. His link doesn't work but if you type it in you will get there and can see it.

I also am intrested in the bunge cord shed collector and saw that link on another forum, but cant seem to get a close up of it. I think i could build one for cheeper than they are selling it, but i cant get a close up shot of it to see exactly how they constructed it.

Just find some sapplings about an inch or so growing about 2-3 apart. Pour some corn/bait between them and stretch a few appropriate size bungee cords between the sapplings. 3 sappling growing in a triange pattern works even better.
