ORIGINAL: bloodcreek

In june of 2005 me and my family were visiting my parents. My son and Mom were driving around the yard in a golf cart and spotted this fawn hiding in the honeysuckle. My dad handed me his camera and i was able to get this pic. Since it was his camera i had forgotten about the pic until he gave me a copy recently. My mom says it looks like it should be a post card. Thought you guys might want to check it out. Man they start out so tiny.

Nope no sign of mama, the fawn was in a fence row with honeysuckle between my parents yard and the county road, there is a small woodlot across the road so im guessing that was where mama was hidding.

Great picture! We have a doe that chooses to bed down in our back yard every spring and have her babies in our back yard, it's great since she doesn't really care if we are around and lets us go check out the baby!
