Q2MD,

1 Traditional Bowhunter
2 North American Whitetail
3 Bowhunting World
4 Peterson's Bowhunting

Although, NAW has both bow and gun hunts, it has enough bow hunts to make it my second favorite.
Especially, with all those fine pics of big bucks they feature each month!

I like Whitetail Hunting Stratagies, it is also for gun hunting, but it is only tips and techniques, no success stories or other crap....the reason I get a magazine is to improve, not to read about others successes and failures.

Shots that are True....Pass right Through!!!

Well i personally like bowhunter. But unlike olmossyhorns I think that the success and failures help you learn more about what to do or what not to do in the stand so i am all for them. Along wiht other helpful information. This is why i picked bowhunter it has it all.

North American Whitetail is by far my favorite magazine even though it has gun hunting articles in it and I dont even gunhunt. Most of all I like the articles by Greg Miller, Bill Winke, and Bobby Worthington. Bobby W. has just rapped up a series of articles about hunting funnels during the rut, they are very helpful and informing, this guy has killed some monster bucks and he really has his stuff together. If you have any hunting buddies that read this magazine and have maybe save them, this series might be able to help you some especially if you would like to take a mature buck with a bow. I also like Bowhunting, most of the other ones are nothing but advertisements. But I do like reading about new products so I usually buy them all every once in a while.
