Went out tonight with my brother to do a little doe management. Had two come in around 4:30. He stopped her at about 30 yards and she looked our way when he shot. She turned into the arrow and ran off. We got down to check the arrow out, looked like a gut shot.However, afterchecking the video it looks like he made agreat shot, only i dont see the arrow exit the other side. Check out this video and let me know what you guys think. I think we will give her till morning.

its hard to tell from the video, but id say you're making the right call by waiting til morning. she looks like a dandy doe, congrats to you and your friend and good luck finding her, post pics when you do.

Looks like good penetration to me. I didn't see an exit either so if the arrow isn't in the ground I'll bet it is poking into the back left leg.

To methe hit looks a little far back, possably a gut shot and I didn't see an exit.

HAZCON, the arrow fell out of the doe about 10 yards up the trail where she ran.

Since there seems to be no exit hole, I would say that the arrow is stuck in the back leg. Just like HAZCON said. If that is the case you should have got the liver and your deer is dead. Might be a tough tracking job though. I shot a buck two years ago with that kind of shot. Only found 3 drops of blood, but did find the buck after a grid search.

Michael......I've played it in slow mo about 10 times and it looks like the shot is a little far back.....but a good one. You'll find her in the am. Nice big doe. Smart move......I lost one the first part of the season by not waiting.
