little garlic butter might make that shoe taste a little better.

Love it when people do that.

Never would I intentionally try to place an arrow where that shot struck. If that person has been led to believe that this an ethical shot than as others have stated he needs to be educated tactfully as to why this wouldn't be a shot he would want to take.To suggest that someone purposefully do that is bizarre!

look, unwrinke your pink panties and calm down.

Don't hate on some guy and his first deer, who knows the whole story anyway.

When you shoot an animal with a bow its all about making them bleed. Sure that shot is not ideal, but hey, it worked and it would work again due to all the potential for blood loss through out that area if struck by an arrow.

If I showed a pic of my bowkill this year and told you about the shot I would get ripped to pieces. That is why when I posted my pic I left out shot placement. And yes I shot exactly where I was aiming, and I was very confident in the shot. He went about 70 yards from where I stuck him. But how quick we are to judge others for the decisions they make.

RE: Would you take this shot???

The ONLY reason I posted this, guys....is MY opinion of the "end" not justifying the means. Even if this shot were lethal and recoverable 100% of the time...."I" am of the opinion that I wouldn't take it. The margin for error is WAY too large for my taste.

I just wanted to feel the pulse of the forum. Thanks.

I would not take this shot unless the deer was spoked and about to run. I would not take it then i dont think either. But it did get the job done i guess, but i hope the deer die fast and did not have to suffer, i dont like seeing animals suffer when i shot them. I dont know if i am the only one that feels this way.
