2007 Indoor Worlds Q's.........

I know a few of you have shot this in the past..........
Are HC rules any different than outdoor IBO events? Still 35 yards? What are the shots like? Is it a lot of up and downhill, are they mechanical targets or stationary? Is there a time limit per target or do you have time to pick a good number? Anyone have pics of the event in the past, and has the event been held at the same place (IX Center) for a while now?
I have an opportunity to attend this shoot for next to nothing in cost by carpooling w/ some of the guys out of central NY. I am trying to get an idea on whether this is one I should plan to attend and what it is like..........anything like the Harrisburg indoor sportsmans show?

Matt,
I won't bother to travel that far for an indoor but in HC from what I hear expect all flat, close yardage (35 is max but I heard they are all close)............you'll need probably around 30x's to even have a sniff.
(I think 433 w/ 33x's won last year? with quite a few X counts in the 30's for 40 targets)
Its a turkey shoot.
I heard its relatively dark (Make sure you can see your pins), has been cold inside, yardage is easy.
Not sure about the total level of competition though in HC? There are some good shooters obviously (and guys who shoot HC year after year),butthere are also some local guyswho I shoot about 15-20pts up on for a 30 targetcourse every week thathave been in the top 25with 20+ x's that said its an "easy" shoot.
From what I gather from guys who have shot both, Harrisburg's indoor isMUCH more difficult. (To give you an idea,in 2005 when I shot HCandwon the event I shot a 326 for30 targets but that was counting centers as 12's.....next closest score was 313,then 303 from some decent shooters) Shooting side to side across the Harrisburg arena and on those "uphill" shots is much different than the flat layout at Indoor Worlds. (If there areany terrain changes at Indoor Worlds I haven't heard about them?)
You should do well but don't shoot any 8's. Just clean it with 30+ X's.............no pressure.[8D]
(Don't stress over this one. You can start stressing at the Triple Crowns.

Thanks Matt, that's what I was looking for. Harrisburg is tough, last year I shot a 296 on it with a big fat zipper (0) mixed in there [:'(]. Cleaned the first 10 targets on 10's and X's and dropped one on a almost level 30 yard buck....lol. It took a fewtargets to get my head on straight after that one......lol.
I wouldn't normally go to this event but I pretty much have a free ride, and hotel to split between 3 guys so why not?
Buckeye? You going to be at this definitely?
One last Q guys, are you timed on the targets at indoor worlds? Are these mechanical or stationary targets?

I've seen you guys shooting at Harrisburg. That is some severe uphill shots there. Really tough to judge the distances on those critters stuck in between the stadium seats.LOL You always hear lots of arrows rattling and clanging off the wood work.[&:] I always wondered what kind of fool would want to drag his bow in here and embarras him/herself by slamming arrows off the concret floors and seats. Now I know, Rick James and Matt/PA. LOL
[8D] More power to ya guys. X them all Rick.

Just to give you guys who haven't seen the event an idea of what the shooting is like.........here's what the Harrisburg Eastern Sports show 3D challenge format looks like (Not the best pic but it shows a good majority of the targets)
