May 5th, Chocolate Black Bear @ 9 yards on the ground, spot an stalk.
July 24th, 25 yards, Non-Typical caribou taken with Stace on a night hunt, her first time on a bowhunt.

Sept. 7th, 40&quot; bull moose from just under 20 yards on my one day of moose hunting this year. One double lung shot followed by one heart shot at 10 yards finally got this guy to stop breathing.

I also shot a host of small game including several ptarmigan, 3 Franklin Grouse, parkers (ground) squirrels, and most recently a black/cross fox. My near misses this year was on both mule deer and elk this season. I had a gorgeous 6X6 at 12 yards for nearly 10 minutes, drew back on him twice but couldn't get a clear shot. What a hunt though, just wish I had a picture of him with my Mathews on his side. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Here's a photo of a fox that looks like the one I took a couple of weeks ago with the bow. The only difference is the one I took recently has more red on his sides, but his tail is completely black.

See &quot;Deer Hunting 2002&quot; for my 5X3 8 pointer. This was my first year I got two deer during the archery season and before the Mz season started. I've still got until the end of the year too.

I took this nice 8 pointer on Nov. 13 with
my Q2 and 4-blade Muzzy's.
...also found these two bruisers last spring. They
had locked up while fighting the previous fall. My
dad and I were working on treestands when our
labs found them. I'm getting the bigger one mounted
right now, he goes in the high 180's/nontypical.

This was my best bow season ever, I got my first bowkill, nice fat doe at about 22 yards. Next season I have an appointment with a nice 8 point, that refused to co-operate this year.

Man, I can't hang with the size of some of these bucks. I did however shoot 5 deer with my bow, and my buck was a 7 pt with a foot spread.
