Default 2002 Bowhunting Brag Book.....

Here it is. The 2002 Bowhunting brag book. If you've got something you'd like to add, please do. Pictures are always a welcome.

(If I had anything to show for this year, it would be here )

May 5th, Chocolate Black Bear @ 9 yards on the ground, spot an stalk.
July 24th, 25 yards, Non-Typical caribou taken with Stace on a night hunt, her first time on a bowhunt.

Sept. 7th, 40" bull moose from just under 20 yards on my one day of moose hunting this year. One double lung shot followed by one heart shot at 10 yards finally got this guy to stop breathing.

I also shot a host of small game including several ptarmigan, 3 Franklin Grouse, parkers (ground) squirrels, and most recently a black/cross fox. My near misses this year was on both mule deer and elk this season. I had a gorgeous 6X6 at 12 yards for nearly 10 minutes, drew back on him twice but couldn't get a clear shot. What a hunt though, just wish I had a picture of him with my Mathews on his side. Here's a photo of a fox that looks like the one I took a couple of weeks ago with the bow. The only difference is the one I took recently has more red on his sides, but his tail is completely black.
