Here is myanswer toyour question about "the feeling". I have had the feeling recently. It happened the last day of the moose hunt September 15th 2006. My wife and I slipped out for an evening of hunting just because I knew something big was going to happen. I killed a 62" moose that night.

The force was with me that night.

I do, in fact I get it even before I leave the house. It might be because as I mature as a hunter I am hunting only optimal days ie.. weather, wind, barrometric pressure and moon phase.

But I know what your talking about. that feeling when your getting dressed at the truck, almost raises the hair on your neck like "yeah, todays gonna be a good one" Then you have a deer down by 8am.

I like that feeling:D
