The Pennyrile buck in the previous pic is confirmed. It was killed with a .243 by an amish man on the Pennyrile WMA. It was on the Dec.18 KY Afield. As of now that deer is still just as legit as Troy Gentry's Ft. Knox buck.

I thought Germ was talking about Eastern KY to, but he is easly influenced with big Bucks. Germ I can't remember if there is camping on H&H or not, I will find out this week. If thay don't,I'm sure I can get permission to camp at Pleasent Valley Archery club, just a short drive from there. Dang its almost 10 months away and I'm already excited. Ok did I miss something is the Amnish buck KY tainted? |

there are always stories as to if big bucks are legit or not. i was told by a guy who knows his stuff that it was from a pen, but that doesnt mean it was. no one knows for sure, but since it has been featured in magazines that do their research im betting it is legit. either way it wouldnt surprise me if it was real. kentucky always produces 200"+ deer.

I hunted Ky this year, did not score on a buck . ButI did shoot a doe. My buddys went to the same Outtfitter 3 weeks later andthey shot 2 8pts that scored in the 100's. They were hunting with pansy rifles though. The Outfitters son was the Top Dog WCO of KY, Mr Gassett. I ate diner with him one night. He's a nice guy and young for that possition! Ky is a nice state!
