Default Another treestand question??

I have several trees that i feel would be good for bowhunting. What's the smallest diamater tree that you feel is safe and what's the largest you can go around with a climber or a hang on. If i was going to get a climber, I'm only going to go with either gorilla or summit so dont offer any others. What is the best climber between the two companies?? I'm looking at the summit viper? is that a good one for bowhunting out of? thanks

I've had a Summit Viper for 3 years. The only problem with it is sometimes it's too comfortable when I've had a long week at work and I find my eye lids banging shut on occasions. You could hunt in that stand from sun up to sun down. I don't like heights but feel very secure in the Viper. Not sure of the weight of the Gorilla but the Summit is all aluminum. The weight makes a big difference if you are packing it any distance.
