P&Y discussion continued......

I was reading back over the "OFF TOPIC" locked thread and was curious to know where our members stand on the issue of entering their animals into the P&Y record book.

Let me know what you think, add a post and let us know how you feel.

Yes I would enter one.

I think too many people are bitter over the P&Y club due to let off restrictions. That left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. I for one played by the rules and always shot my bows at 65% let off, now they allow other letoffs with * beside the entries. What will we complain about now?

Hopefully this question can stay on topic....

My P&Y scorer told me that the * will most likely be dropped in the near future from the record book entries.... True or not I don't know... They allow up to 80% letoff for record book entries.

As I said in the other post I have 2 deer entered in the book and I bought one too. It is neat to see my name on the same pages as Chuck Adams, Myles Keller and Randy Ulmer to name a few. I also like to just look over the entries from other people to see where they come from.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!

Sure why not. It doesn't take anything or add anything to the hunt itself but it would be cool to have.

Oh sure, why not?

Absolutely.

I'm proud of any animal I shoot.

If I'm going to go ahead and have it mounted to show it off I may as well spend the money to show it off in the book too.

Yes...and darn proud to do so:).

I will be entering my avatar buck in the P&Y recordbooks this year. I'll have him officially scored on or soon after January 8th, the day the official drying period is over. He green scored 158" gross and 155-2/8" net. I measured his width and he already shrank 1" in the width[:@]. I hope to add many more in the future.
