Aw, you caught me! I picked a handsome actor to portray me. I didn't think that you guys would notice!;)
I did think it was Tom Sellick (sp?) at first. Hey is that a swingset and a corn pile in the background? [8D][8D]

Nice deer!

Congrats on the Christmas present Greg. You know they say the best presents are the ones you give to yourself!

If I got one like that I might call it quits for the year too. But then againI still have tags left in MO to fill.

Well worth the wait. CONGRATS!!!

Congrats Greg. That's a cool buck. Is that a hole in it's left main beam?

Looks like you had a good X-mas. congrats on a fine looking buck. That is wild looking how the G-4 comes out of the beam like that.

nohillbilly, it is a hole. They are kind of common on older bucks. Probably because there is more mass for a hole to develope in. I have a few with this. The location of the holes mostly occur in this location on the beam.

I'm not sure of the cause, but I've heard that it is either an injury while in velvet or where a bloodvessel dried up.Maybe someone on here can tell us???
