Default Back to the bow (practice session)

Now that rifle season is over with, I am picking up my bow again and will continue bowhunting. Due to Christmas errands and all sorts of stuff going on today (Saturday) I didn't get out to go hunting.

But at least I did get my bow out into the back yard and fling a few arrows at my Block 4X4. Check this out... This was pretty cool. 3 arrows into the wind from 25 yards away. All 3 nailed the "heart" of the deer image on the Block 4x4.

Man, I can't wait to get back out there!

LOL!!!! Those were my three un-touched arrows in the case. I've only shot them about half a dozen times, if that. I like the Beman ICS Hunters w/ a 100 grain tip. They are a great arrow and readily available anywhere.

I've gota common setup but I can still tweak this and that if I want. I do want to try feathers and different arrows in the off season, and see how good the accuracy will be.

I just wish that Highlander was capable of shooting better......Of course, it would be helpful if Relfex could build a decent bow....[&:]

Hehehehee.... Yup, the Reflex Highlander continues to amaze me. I put it away during rifle season (probably haven't touched it in a month), and brought it back out. BAM! 3 arrows right into the "heart" on the Block 4X4 after takinga month or so "off" from archery.

Edit: Hoyt/Reflex make some of the most amazing bows out there!
