Anyone see the potential new state record in Maryland? 26 scoreable point. Rough scored 286. Potentially will beat the Maryland State Record by 40 inches and will most likely score in the top 20 Non-typical in the world after the drying time.
So how long do you think it will be before the Pro's will start showing up in Charles County to film a show? As they only go where the big deer roam.

But if you check the record books, this deer is way above the standard. There aren't that many book deer come from Maryland. We got some real nice ones, but not the monsters as a rule.

I'm not saying anything bad about the deer or Maryland hunting. I don't know anything about either of them. I just know what the "pro" hunters do, and i really don't like them.

A buck like the one taken in Charles county, will only come around every once and awhile in Maryland. Like david said, we have some real biggin's, but they are usually old and smart and don't get seen that often. We have a very nice 10-point around here and he is extremely elusive. Either way, the pros won't come here, they are too busy hunting "ranches" half the time.
