Default Anyone watch the OLN last night?

This guy Tred Barta was on hunting Caribou in Newfoundland! First I was really impressed with the guy's hunting attitude and how he likes to do it the "hard way"... He say's with a traditional long bow the max shot has to be 15-20 yards.. They played that comment over and over.... then he takes about 3 or 4 wild shots at these Caribou that are over 40 yards away on TV!! I know there is another post on this guy but man he is an idiot. He didn't hit a thing and even if he did I think he would have been satisfied with a wounded animal.. I gotta admit the guy has alot of energy

Or how about this show.... not sure what it was called:

These guys were turkey hunting with shotguns.. A group of about 4 nice gobblers come up on them and they guy just shoots into the middle of them! The camers shows them high-fiving each other?!?! Is it cool to kill one and wound 4 others?

or how about the episode on "africa hunting" ..... this one really cracked me up when the guy was aiming at a huge cape buffalo with his double rifle. The guy aiming the gun claims he was uneasy about the shot due to its long range. You can obviously tell the guy didn't want to shoot but you hear his PF tell him to take the shot... Sure enough.. he shoots it in the back leg and they were like "oh well" and left.

oh and one last one! this one was called "kansas big boys"... LOL...

the kid setup at the edge of the barbed wire fence. did anyone see that show? Will that fence actually hold deer in? Looks like he just waited until the buck he wanted walked up and looked through the fence before shooting with his muzzleloader at about 5 yards.

Did anyone see the show where he shot the grizzly with his recurve, I dont remember but it was about a year ago when I seen it. I think he shot it at about 15 yds. It would definately scare the crap out of me, atleast he had a guide next to him with a SBE with slugs. still way to close for me. But he sounds pretty stupid from what i hear.

It's called "low-fence". The fence has NOTHING to do with deer. They just jump over it. It doesn't restrict their movement. I've shot deer over low fences. They're no less free-range than on 10000 acres of public land.

The guy went hog hunting with dogs and killed them with a bowie knife... stupid is a pretty good description.
