Default vintage Fred Bear Bowfishing outfit...anyone know about it?

Just a question for some of you bear archery collectors or enthusiast. my great uncle was a bear archery man and he had a few productsfrom them. i just found this kit today when snoopin in my great aunts guestroom closet for some of his old Case knives. she "thinks" he got this in the very early 1960s but isnt positive. Its the complete kit never removed from the box, even the box is in good shape, not rotted or anything, its just been stored in the closet for decades and i cant find anything about it or its value(not that i want rid of it)

Take it to Antiques Road Show. It might be worth more than you think.

Very cool.
I have some old stuff like that from my Dad.
He still uses it when we go out in the spring, and summer.

I do prefer modern bowfishing gear for actual use, but it is neat to keep some old stuff around to show beginners how things have evolved.

Not sure how much cash it would bring, but I do know that if it can help get carp out of our waters, it IS valueable.

I have the hand reel and use it for gator hunting. I bought it off of ebay. I have 15 yards of heavy line on it and a muzzy gator getter arrow.

You have a gem of a hand reel there, but since it's in the package it is probably worth more unopened. You might try calling the Fred Bear Museum to see if they want it.

i may take the advice of calling the museum this weekend to inquire about its value/rarity. i've not even pulled the box out of the plastic and dont plan on it so far.
