RE: do any bows shoot the same from 0 to 40?

Of course a bow can shoot flat out to 40 yards and not defy the laws of physics, but technically it would have to do it at infinite speed.

I do not see the point in having a 20 and a 30 yard pin. Like so many said, I am not going to add a pin for a 2" difference. Plus, hitting 2" low at 30 is good as far as I am concerned seeing as how I have a bad tendancy to aim higher on the animal than I should. If they ever come out with a bow that makes it so I can have a 35 yard top pin without having to adjust my aim, I am buying a new bow. Although I may not be able to wait that long.

I remember having a 10 yard top pin. Bow hunting is almost a different sport because of the ability to push that top pin distance back farther and farther. Obviously, I like the change.

i know some bows shoot the same from 0-30 yardsbut what about 0-40?
The short answer is NO. The long answer is NOOOOOOOOOO!

Actually bows and guns too shoot the same at 2 and only 2 distances and even then they aren't precisely the same. At the first distance the projectile will strike precisely where it's aimed but will strike the target on an upward path. At the second distance it will srike where it's aimed on the downward path. At any other range than these 2 the weapon is not precisely sighted in so it's just a matter of what you define as close enough. :D:D

I wonder how flat a 100# Allegiance would shoot with a 32" draw? I have seen 100# tributes before, but could you imagine?

no disrespect but I was`nt aware that poundage had anything to do with it? If you shoot more poundage that you have to shoot a heavier arrow to keep ibo
