RE: New Guy Question
I'm also a "new guy". I bought my Diamond Rapture last spring and shot a lot over the summer, hitting my target most of the time. A buddy of mine suggested that I should get up in a tree to make sure I was comfortable shooting from the stand. He was right, it was a lot different than shooting from the ground. My first few shots were low, not because the bow was not sighted but because I was not comfortable in the stand. After a few sessions in the tree my shots improved a lot, without changing the sites. I would suggest the same to you. Good luck and happy hunting!!!

Sight in from the ground
makes the practice more practical!! |
RE: New Guy Question
I'm only in my second year of bow hunting, but made one good observation;
- Cheap aluminum arrows, big difference from the stand to the ground. - Quality carbon arrows, very little difference from the stand to the ground. It is easy to get on my roof, so I practice from there. Good Luck, KP P.S. Do yourself, your quarry, hunting and hunters reputation a favor. Practice until you're confident before you go hunting. Createa challenging test for yourself and make sure you're able to pass it. |
