how much land do you own??? or hunt on
#23
I don't own any, but I have permission for archery on 100 acres 1.5hrs away, another 175 acres 2hrs away, and 200 acres for gun 3 hrs away.
I'm really jealous of you guys that hunt in the back yard.

What part of Ohio is your land on, Predator19? I live in Cincinnati and am confined to public hunting. I would be willing to help out around the property or even throw you some $ for a nice hunting spot.

I own 14 acres and have access to about much of the land which adjoins it - at least the thick bedding area that adjoins it anyway!
I hunt a number of small parcels (owned by others) of around 20 acres and a couple bigger pieces that are on the order of 140 to 170 acres.

I only own 1.5 acres but have access to several patches of several hundred acres each in NY. Can't wait to get back to NY. On top of that I hunt some big patches of State land. I'm really shorted here in Maryland now. Don't really have a place to call home hunting grounds.

I hunt on several small parcels of between 10 to 30 acres and I also have permission to hunt a 300 acre piece. It is very challenging in my area to secure permission on private land.I have a bit of a leg up in that my family has lived in the area for three generations and I have owned an Insurance agency for 15 years locally so I am interacting with landowners all the time.
We have a huge anti hunting sentiment locally,(Woodstock NY) and I choose to be very cautious about who I ask permission from.
We do have a decent amount of public ground either state land or Department of environmental protection property. For the most part it isn't the greatest or it gets hunted very hard.We have bowhunting only zones about 1 1/2 hours north and south of us.I wish I had more time to see what land opportunities were available in those area's.
