What type of camo do you prefer?
Just wanted to get a little more insite on camo patterns and brand, so lets hear what you like and why!
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I voted Enigma cause i will be switching to that for next year. My reason is because I think it is supper versitile for all times of the year and really breaks up my outline better than most!
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Love predator
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I like Mossy Oak, becasue it blends in best where I live
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Predator.
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Realtree and I also like alot River ghost and brush country!:):)
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
you wear realtree hardwoods, you gonna vanish!
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
realtree hardwoods blends in great here for all my hunting situations. All i will buy
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I voted other because I like to mix them all up from Skyline Apreration to Mossey Oak Forest Floor and everything in between.
Depending on the area and the season , I'll use a varitey of camo pattrensto blend in as much as possiable. |
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Most of my Camo is Mossy Oak, but I also have some Real Tree. Depends alot on theareas you hunt.
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
There's not much difference in the effectiveness of any of it. When I buy hunting clothing, I just buy the type of clothing I want and whatever type of camo it is is alright by me.
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I voted for ASAT. I use it because it works. Simple as that.
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
i voted other...i like advantage timber. it really does work around here at all times of the year.
|

|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?

|

ORIGINAL: isatarak There's not much difference in the effectiveness of any of it. When I buy hunting clothing, I just buy the type of clothing I want and whatever type of camo it is is alright by me. There is a big difference between the effectivness of an open pattern camo and the big name brand camouflauges. |
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Realtree Hardwoods!!!
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I voted for Enigma because I will be switching from Realtree, Mossyoak, etc... I pretty impressed about the Enigma & ASAT camo. I like the way it doesn't make you look like a dark blob in the woods!!! We'll see!
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I voted for "other" As I use BDU's for my camo. It costs less and lasts WAY longer than anything commercial I have owned. Hey if it's good enough for our fighting men and women.......it's good enough for me!:D
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
in northern illinois you wont find any better camo then the realtree ya just vanish

RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I hear guys all the time talk about how they shot a deer and it didn't see them and the camo worked great. Well, I could say the same thing about what I use and it is the Mossy Oak or Real Tree or whatever I happen to find a good deal on. If the deer don't see you, it's probably because you are high up in a tree and didn't move when they were looking your way.
If some particular type of camo makes you more confident, however, by all means, go for it. |
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I voted Enigma since that is what I have been using this year.
I really like it and think it is very effective. I love the wolfskin fabric and plan to use the Enigma for years to come. Now since Enigma is new, of course I have other camo too. I have Old,original Treebark Mossy Oak Realtree Tiger stripe(doesn't fit anymore[:o]) Snow camo I think I may even have some old woodland around somewhere. |
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
realtree and mossy oak
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Predator as it is proven for me, whenyou can draw on a turkey while in a tree you know you have great camo.I bought an Enigma coat off of Rob just to shut him up but I haven't given it a try yet.:D When Buellhunter get shis archery store going I may have to get some pants for my coat.
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Hey advantage timber is a realtree product!
ORIGINAL: carolina_hunter i voted other...i like advantage timber. it really does work around here at all times of the year. |

Hey if it's good enough for our fighting men and women.......it's good enough for me!:D I nevermentioned a specific pattern. The military makes/made many different types from woodland to desert to tiger stripe to the new digital. I was mearly explaining that the design of the garment is super tough and durable. I have hunted and killed deer in woodland, tiger stripe and the latest digital, I even hunted in the all black BDU's and killed (coyotes). Camo IMHO isWAY over rated. |

I know you were...I should have used a;):D

RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Enigma. I don't know a lot about the science behind the patterns, but I do know that they are comfortable, well build, SUPER Quiet, shed water well and are cut large enough to layer under. However, the absolute best thing about Enigma is the guy behind them. You will not find better customer service in the industry than you'll get dealing with Chuck. Try to call Mossy Oak, RealTree or somebody like that and order a custom size outfit. It won't happen. With Chuck/Enigma it will.
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
I voted Enigma.....because it's a great product.....backed by a great owner. Chuck's gone out of his way to make sure my garments fit....and were built to my specifications (I ordered without cargo pockets...special reinforcements....etc...). The fabric isOUTSTANDING.....and heck....I've had a great season...taking 5 whitetails witharchery tackle.
To borrow a phrase from the competitor......the proofs in the freezer and on the wall, at home. Jeff |
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Whatever is 50% off at the end of the year. :D
|
RE: What type of camo do you prefer?

RE: What type of camo do you prefer?
Camo IMHO isWAY over rated. I personally don't pay that much attention the what pattern I am using as I always try to brush myself into where I am hunting. |
