Dr Deer. you can learn more from him in 5 minutes than all that thumbs up "he's down" "i'm still shaking" BS that's on 95 % of the shows.

I guess there are several that over time were mine. I guess Fred Bear, Ben Pearson & Howard Hill are mine. They have all gone to pass but their feats still remain PLUS they are kinda the foundation of our Archery of today. There are many other old timers but those come to mind the most.
Actually, if you look around your local or even in family, you may just find another favorite hunter-just one you have never seen on TV.

My dad! He about sums up everything that I beleive is good and holy about hunting.

As far as TV personalities... my favorites are most of the Regulars on the Primos videos.

Waddell would be better if he wasn't such a walking commericial. ie... "I guess he heard what the Encore had to say!!!!" Other than that I like the Roadtrips show cause it's as much about the journey and the comaradarie(sp?)as the hunt.

I used to like the Fitzgerald guys, but they're turning more and more into Pitchmen.....

Ted Nugent is pretty over the top... but some of his hunts are ok.
