Bets are on.....will 'ol SB take a deer, tomorrow? I'd put money on the affirmative.

16 degrees when I get on stand in the morning.....and my company Christmas party is tonight!!.....lol (how's that for mitigating factors?)

Lisa and I went out last Friday night....and were out LATE!! We came home....sat in the hot tub a bit....then laid down on the couch. I laid there for a minute or two....and decided it was now or never. If I was going hunting....I couldn't go to sleep. I got up....took a shower....and went hunting!!

That's the truth. I was in there mighty early....but I was in there!

Guys....This is my next-to-last Saturday to hunt. Our season ends on the 16th. I haven't put the bow down for any of it. It's the only way I hunt (NOT knocking anyone else's choices).

I hope that didn't come across as too cocky. I'v ealso been and not seen anything........some. I know I won't be too picky, though, tomorrow (doe-wise). It's time to thin the herd.

Break in new bow on one hand, warm bet, hot wife in the other....Hhmmm, my instincts tell me to tell you to keep warm with the wife, get up, hit that doe early and then warm up again with the hot wife...yes, that sounds like a plan.

Seeing as you have seen a relatively high amount of deer, I would imagine that your chances are pretty good. So in that case, I think you'll have a good time in the woods. Maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow two and get me a doe or two. I'm taking the ML tomorrow though because its only the second time I've taken it out this year (I prefer bow too). :D

I have it the highest authority that SBGobblers scored this morning!....

I got a phone call when he came out of the woods saying he shot a nice buck. He hadn't gone for the recovery to give it time (right thing to do) but he found his arrow and has real good blood on it. He saw the whot perfectly but wanted to allow time for it to expire.

I got a second phone call, BBD, recovery successful on a main frame 8 point. Pictures to follow.

LOL, that's good. The report was, 20 doe/fawns came by 5 at a time, couple buck reports and the one down for the count tended a scrape 25ish yards away. The New Bowtech Allegiance barked, buck down.
