Default European mount pics?

So I am getting one done this year........

I traded my taxidermist the bucks cape if he wouldcut, boil, and bleach the skull for me. I will be doing the mounting of it though. I am curious to see others european mounts to give me some ideas on what the plaque looks like they used.

I really like the looks of this mounting kit, but I only need the plaque and it is $50+ and includes the stuff to bleach.....I don't need this. I am trying to come up with ideas to make my own plaque or somewhere else to order one that is cool. Lets see em............

A friend of mine cut a board in the shape of an arrowhead and it looks pretty neat.

I made mine with a band saw and a router. Took about 10 minutes.
Then I used a 1 step poly stain.

The great thing about my pedestal is that it can be desk mounted or wall mounted just by rotating the base.

Rick. yes I did make my own. i made it out of walnut. you can buy a swivel from vandikes taxidermy. they are used on flying turkey mounts. I just wanted something different so i made the swivel and the plaque and combined them.

Hazcon thats a real nice plaque and an awesome rack. did you kill that bad boy.

mexhunter, yes it does swivel so you can change the pose.

Dan
