RE: European mount pics?
RTA47 if you go to the taxidermy section and find the thread european mount and handmade plaque pics and scroll down a little you will find where i explained the whol process on how i did the skull. some do it other ways ,but ,well you know. thanks for the nice comments!:)
Dan ORIGINAL: RTA47 Guys those are some awesome looking mounts. I had a european mount done myself last yr but i have not found a way to display the mount the way i would likeuntill now! I would like to know what or how? You did those mounts. Like rick james ask? Did you buy those mounting kits or did you make them? They look great. |
RE: European mount pics?
I did this in about an hour with a jigsaw and a drum-sander on my drill. I have a couple ideas for something a little fancier, but not gaudy.
It's American Cherry with a satin-finish. Obviously, the plaque is made for a larger mount. This was my second deer. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h188/bowman55/Euromountplaque.jpg?t=1165511673 http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h188/bowman55/seven-pointEuromountandplaque-1.jpg?t=1165511995 |
