Going elk hunting on public land in Colorado this coming fall, and I've got an actual "booked" trip for 2009 with a couple buddies from here to chase after some speed goats in Wyoming.

Sept bear hunt in Ontario bow and rifle.
Oct deer hunt in New York with a bow- really looking forward to that.
Oct/Nov deer and moose in Ontario bow and rifle.
Nov caribou in Northern Quebec.
Dec muzzle loader hunt in Southern Ontario.
Hope I will still be married (lol)

Boy you guys are so fortunate to go to all these places. I really want to elk hunt, moose hunt, whitetail hunt the midwest, see goats in Alaska, watch caribou swimming a channel, etc but really can't justify the $$$ when I am paying rent and a mortgage on the new patch I bought in PA all at the same time.
Unfortunately I won't be able to do this stuff for a few years but I know in 3 years my little 26 acres of paradise in PA will be paid off and I can start to justify the $$$ to go on these types of hunts. I hope you guys know that us younger guys are living vicariously through your hunts...........for now I can only listen to your stories and see the pics and hope someday to see a speed goat drinking from a watering hole, or a beautiful 6x6 screaming in response to my call.
Enjoy these hunts guys and post details for us that are working for the chance to do these hunts ourselves in the future. I know I can't wait till I can go too and think about that almost every day during the daily grind..........

Kansas...late Oct / early Nov, as usual. I just love that place. I'm actually cleared, by the wife, to do an elk hunt, but haven't booked anything. I might convince her to let me go to Canada for Caribou instead. Now that looks like a really cool hunt.

Yup, a couple fishing expeditions to Canada and some out of state thingys for bowhunting. I may finally take up my buddy in Texas that want's me to come kill a bunch of Axis that have taken over his 300 acre mini ranch surrounded by suburbia. He doesn't allow hunting but told me to come on and kill some of them. Says he's got 200 or so running all over the place. GOing back to Ohio and have two invites to elk hunt out west. I really would like to make one of those at least. I didn't get to do Georgia this year because of all this house crap. Maybe next year. I got to come back and spend a couple days with Len here in Maryland and maybe I can work in a bow hunt to WVa at the same time. My other nephew wants me to come to Tenn too. Too many places, not enough time.

I'm starting my 2007 off with a turkey hunt in Nebraska (end of March). The first two weeks of April, I'll be chasing tahr, chamois, red deer and feral hog in New Zealand. Hopefully I'll be back in time to hunt more turkey in Kansas before their season is over. I'll be in Texas the end of May hunting hogs, javalina, and exotics. In August, I'll be chasing speed goats here in Colorado ( maybe in Nebraska or Wyoming as well-Nebraska is over the counter). Deer, elk andbear in September (Colorado). I'll hunt mt. goat, shiras moose, and desert bighorn pendingI drawthe tags (Colorado). You'll find me in Newfoundland the first week of October. I'll be chasing moose and woodland caribou. I'll finish my year out with white-tailed deer hunts in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Texas and Indiana. I have a muntjac/chinese water deer/red stag hunt in Scotlandscheduled for the last week of January 2008 and a trip back to Africa in August 2008.
