What is the going rate for Mounts on your deer? The last one I had done, it cost about $350.00, is that a good price? Also, anybody know what it cost to get a coyote hide done, or a full body mount?

That's not bad if your taxi is not a "friend"... Around me, some are more, some are less but the less.....I wouldn't got there.

my pal is going to taxadermy school this winter and he is mounting my deer from this year during his class. Its just gonna cost me the materials wich will be less than $100.

My tax charges $350 ,but he takes $50 off for me b/c I am one of his biggest customer.[26 mounts and chasing the next one] A coyote will cost about $400 to $500 for a full body mount.I had one done he was the color of a red fox.

wow guys, im in shock!! We only pay like 225 for them and they are good quality, kinda basic, mounted on a shield looking piece of wood with a brass plate thing showing your name, where you killed it, that sorta stuff.Our taxi is fairly quick at it too, its usually just a couple months. Or atleast thats what it took my step dads deer which was in like mid october

I am having my first mount done as we speek. It is going to cost me $510 + tax. So after all is said and done, it will be just under $550. But everyone tells me that he is the best around, and by the looks of some of the mounts in his show room, I think its true. But I do know that in my area, most of the shops charge anywhere from $250 to $350.

Mine is $275.00 and his work isexcellent.

I am in Minnesota also and I pay $500 per shoulder mount. It is expensive but he does excellent deer.

They charge a little over $500 around here too, which is why I wasn't able to get my buck mounted this year.
