I was just wondering if it is legal to bowhunt during muzzleloader season here in Minnesota? I tried finding stuff on it in the MNDNR site but nothing. I would really appreciate the help, thanks!

I just looked at the DNR page, and as I read it, archery season does not close for muzzle loader season, they run concurrent. Looks to me like it's perfectly legal.

Hmm, sorry, I'm not familiar with the MN seasons!

Our muzzleloader and bowhunting seasons overlap by 5 days here in Wisconsin. Bowhuntingre-opens tomorrow, but we have to wear blaze orange due to the ML season. Then next Thursdaybegins a 4 daydoe only gun hunt. Yet another 4 days of blaze orange.

Bowhunting in Wisconsin opens directly after the regular guns season closes! It's open during the entire muzzleloader season, which I used to hunt with Bow. Now I have taken up the ole Flintlocker!!! I love it, probably even more once I shoot my first deer with it!!!!!!! Bowhunting is my first passion!

Oops.Bowhunting used to take a week off before it re-opened. That I'm sure of. Guess I don't keep up with the times very well! I'm usually ice fishing after the gun season if possible.

Small world!I'm pretty new at this muzzleloader thing. Just bought an Omega last year. Ihad vacation yesterday, so I hunted for a few hoursin the afternoon. Looks likeI could have taken my bow if I would pay attention. Can't believe I forgot bowhunting now opens day after gun season. Must be signs of middle age creeping up on me. Like I said earlier, it used to re-open the weekend after gun season.
