best target to shoot at?

The best and most fun target that I have to shoot is the Morrell Bionic buck. Its essentially a very tough bar target inside a 3D deer target.
Takes an enormous amount of abuse and you can even replace the cover when worn.
There is absolutely no comarison between this target and ANY foam 3D target.......the Bionic Buck will far outlast the beating that foam will take caused by one shooter repeatedly shooting groups.
One hand arrow removal too makes it a PLEASURE to shoot. No effort at all.
Love mine and it has 4 seasons of shooting on it and don't see any slowing down.
I do have 2 different full McKenzie deer but the Bionic Buck is my favorite.
Now obviously you can't shoot broadheads into so what I do is use the old or discarded McKenzie foam midsections from our archery club. You can put 2 of these end to end to makea sort of animal
But you will still have plenty of surface area to just beat the crap out of guilt free.
Many archeryclubs will just GIVE you these midsections as they have no use in competition and they save the club from having to discard them.

I'll have a Bionic Buck as soon as winter's over. And I'm getting Morrell's Yellowjacket target for broadheads; together, they're an unbeatable combination.
Oh.. and I think Matt means "bag" target up above... [8D]

Rob, would you believe it.. I actually did that exact thing this summer!! [
]I had propped up a large bag target against this bird feeder in our back yard which was basically a plastic square to hold birdseed affixed to this long piece or rebar stuck in the ground... Don't know the odds, but I hit the bar dead center after punching through the bag. Talk about an explosion... and you know those darn ACCs aren't cheap! [:@]

For just regular practice a bag or block style target is great and inexpensive.
For hunting practice I feel there is no better practice than a 3D target in the form of your game of choice.
Shooting into an animal shaped target all summer longwill really pay off when it is the real thing.

I asked for a new target for Christmas, wanted the block because thats all i see around here in shops however I shoot my broadheads 100% of the time. This Yellow Jacket you guys speak of is better than the block for heads? Last target i bought they guy told me it would stop my carbons with broadheads. First shot sailed through the target and wedged into my landlords fence lol
