How many consecutive hunting days have you sat on stand and not seen a single deer?


A few years back I went out 8 straight days without seeing a deer.
It got really hard to get out of bed those last couple of days.
Just wondering how long some of you had to wait.

I went 5 days without seeing a deer this year, then shot an 8 point the next day out of the same stands I had been hunting. They just shut down sometimes. Waiting for that front to move through!

Never more than 1 morning/afternoon on stand.

4 days here then 1 doe then 3 more days till next sighting,that was this year in a good area (usually) northern mn.

Without going through all my logs I would say I think 8 consecutive hunts is the most I have gone without seeing a deer. For sure it was long enough!

2 days, but I have gone all year (this yr)without seeing a shooter buck. My brother and father have both taken nice bucks. Luck just hasn't been in my corner this yr.

I haven't seen a deer while hunting by myself since the last week of October LAST YEAR! I don't know how many hunts or hours in the stand I've sat, but it's a lot. I can sit with my son, wife, or buddy, and see deer everytime. I'm not lying! I haven't even SEEN a deer and it's killin me.[:@]

I have gone 1 day total without seeing a deer since I quit hunting in Vermont.

The most ever for me was 18 straight times out without seeing a deer. That was about 8-10 years ago.
