Default Big scrapes?

Was just curious on how big scrapes can get? all most all the ones I have ever seen have only been about three feet at most. But today I found this one and I know it cant be more than a week and a half old. Does big scrape mean big buck? Just curious, never seen one this large. Thanks!

OR... it could have been a little pushing match between a couple frisky bucks.

Could they have been fighting over the scrape on who's it is? I know it is a scrape cause Isniffed a hand full of dirt and it is good and strong smelling so it has to be deer. We also do not have any turkeys in this area, and big foot was shot last summer!

Not exactly sure what you have there. That is not a whitetail scrape. As someone else mentioned earlier, it may have been a push and shove match. But it is definately not a regular scrape. JMO!

Never seen anything quite like that. I would wear that spot out though searching for the buck(s) that did that.

it might be a bunch of scrapes next to each other and on top[ of each other. there is also rubs right next to it so it might be from multiple deer

Thanks guys for the replies. I forgot to add that I would say that it is about six feet wide at it's widest part. Not sure if the computer makes it look larger. This is also in the same spot that I made a post about a month ago on how many rubs does a buck make. This is in an area that is about fifty yards long and twenty five yards wide. Them two rubs are two of about twenty in this small area in a large thicket/swamp.

I have seen scrapes bigger than a kitchen table Rug, compleatly encircling the tree or bush thay were using for the licking branch. I hunted one in Kentucky like that I called the Community Scrape, every deer that came by had to nuzzle the branch, and pee or take a dump in it, it would stay open all year! I have a picture of another large scrape with Large rubs all around it and a 5pt shed that would score in the 140's (if I had the other side) laying next to it. If I can find it, I'll try and post it, its pretty cool!
