Here is a picture of my recent buck. To date he is the best I have shot. I was hunting in my woods about 50 yards in off a corn field and about 100 yards from a bedding area. Between me and the bedding area are 4 apple trees. I got in my stand at 6am, it was a crisp 23 degrees and very clear that morning. As I sat in my stand I felt it seemed like a perfect day. I then heard a lot of noise in the corn so I stood up at about 6:15am at 6:30am it was now light enough to see my pins and legal to shoot (6:19) when he stepped out of the corn. I immediatly drew my bow, he paused but just for a moment. He then proceeded down a trail that took him towards the apple trees and at 20 yards I grunted, he did not hear me so I grunted louder. He stopped in my second shooting lane and at 18 yards. I settled my pin and saw the impact. It was a double lung hit and a full pass through. He only went 35 yards, I heard him cough and saw him go down. I am still very excited, my area is a earn a buck and I actually passed on this guy opening day because I did not have a doe yet. I shot my doe last month and never thought I would see this guy again. I did and if I posted correctly here is his picture.
