filled my tag with a nice buck
Had a great hunt last night, startedseeing deer as soon as I got to 20' up my tree at 2:45 last night. I saw a small buck as soon as I got to 20', at 3:50 I had 2 does come up on my left side at about 30 yards and hung around till the buck that was behind them showed up 5 minutes later the buck stop about 35 yards out and keep looking at the does and then went back the same way he game, he had 4 nice points on hisright side but the left had about 4 or 5 points going stright up. I told my self if he give me a shot I'll take him. Now at about 4:30 I am standing facing the tree looking to my right and my eyes catch moment about 80 yards away moving from right to left. Buck and a nice one my mind records, I hit the can call 4 times and he stops then 2 more times I got his attention, ok what nowoh yea I hit the doe grunt softly about 4 times and his ears go upbut hes not moving so I pull the grunt apart and change it to mature buck, nowI'm thinking to my self surehope this works andlet out a series of deep grunts, bingo hes on his way right to me, I made readyand he gets to with in 25 yards, My bow aready drawn and my sight pin on him and he stops behind a small tree one more step please, he turns my pin still on him and he stops looking away quarting to me every so slightly, I feel go about the shot angle,I put the pin right behind the last rib angling toward the front leg and the shot is on its way wack the deer runs about 40 yards stops and then walks veryslowly head down and in to the thicket. I get down out of my stand at dark and go to where hestarted to walk (good blood) I back out and give him 4 hours. Well my huntingpartner and his son start tracking good blood for 150 yards then spotsthen found were he laid down 3 times all beds where coldstill finding spots of bloodthat lead to the creek bed where he lay. 250 to 300 yards from the shot. thank youLORD JESUS.
