You'll just have to hold out for a bigger one next year

My early tagging this year was a virtue as I have had next to no free time the since......

Took the boy out this morning. Good learning experience for him. The daughter this afternoon. I think she will be a great hunter. Tagged out myself except for some urban hunting, doe's/antlerless only. Be fine. Really need to step that area up a bit anyways it's just very limited.

Yea I hear ya. Another week and i can deer hunt again. I won't have the bow, but that's alright. If I can shake this cold I'll get out for some predators in teh mean time.

I still have a ton of season left. I got the freezer full with doe meat but I'm still after that big ten I have been chaseing for the last 6 weeks. I havent seen him the last few outings so I'm going to have to change stratigies again. The gay gunners start the first week of Dec. so I am getting a bit nervious about getting this buck. Late season after the gun season can be a bear with zero deer sightings. It's been a great season so far but I really want to fill that buck tag.

I actually just stepped in for a bite of lunch and catch up on email.....Then I'm headed right back out. It's bloody windy today, but cold. I've found a new hidden trail I'm anxious to set up on, and as luck would have it the wind is perfect for that spot. I saw 2 doe swim the creek behind me this morning and they both offered shots on dry ground, but I'm done shootin does this year. It's horns or nothing from here out.

Season opens for me tomorrow, but I can't get out until Tuesday.

I wish Washington was a multiple tag state.
