An emaciated deer having difficulty walking sounds very much like CWD. Reporting the siting to the DNR would be in the best interest of both the hunters and animals in the area. As hunters we are an intergral part of the state's conservation efforts. That being said, I feel we have a responsibility to do the "right" thing in helping prevent the spread and eliminating (if possible) CWD.

If you want to hunt in WI . . . Report it right away or yor whole heard will come down with it and wipe out the herd and it can spread frome one zone to another without impedement.

If memory serves, they have already had to order a herd kill in parts of WI already. I live to hunt and I'd stop a hunt to report the siting.

i agree with pse cress and chef i would of reported the incadent right away. you dont want that stuff spreading in your area waiting to report could hurt your hunts in the future
