So far, I have gotten the day off from school because of some semi-serious flooding left behind by the storms that swept through last night. I have located an apartment to possibly move into, which is right on the street and is the perfect size.
The only thing that could make today better....my dealer calling me and telling me my Hoyt Vectrix was in.

Anyone else have any flooding issues to deal with?

Just the opposite here. We have been under a severe drought for over a year now. Some places in Tx have had flooding and some drought. Oh well. The only flooding I'm seeing is when I have to change my daughters pull-up!

Not flooded campo lets just say getting to were we huntwe willbe getting out the waders. Its pretty swampy area from past knowledge its not going to be an easy walk in and an even harder drag out! (I hope)
The farmers land we hunt asked us to not use the 4-wheelers so its an ol fashion hook your deer drag on and mush

Got a couple inches of rain overnight, my brook is wicked high but it didn't crest the road. Really mild here today >60, the good news is this should be the last rain for awhile and its gonna get cold.

Pretty bad flooding here in NY. I'm trying to figure out how to get to the stand I want to hunt tonight for the last bowhunt of 2006. I need a tarzan rope to fly across the creek that runs through my land. Hey that's not a half bad idea.

Yeah...that will be sweet. And, I have the whole day to hang a stand, though the weather looks a little threatening.
