What's that go to do with BOWHUNTING?

Just asking.....lol.

Jeff
You really want to go that route???

The "my bow is better then yours" has nothing to do with bowhunting. Rather ones ego....

Target practice has lots to do with bowhunting IMO....

Well last year I wanted to buy a Trykon and tested the Hoyt. Mathews and Bowtechs. Just couldn't warm up to the draw cycle on the Trykon but at the shot it was just as nice and quiet and vib free as all the others. A Switchback XT in my draw length was quoted at 8 weeks delivery so I bought a bowtech and had it in a week. I liked them all and will no doubt get around to owning some of the others but right now I find Bowtech best suits me and that new Guardian really intrigues me but we won't have those in Canada untill the spring. They are all better tools than most of us can shoot them anyways. I have to admit though, and I'm not bashinh here at all but I find the Drenalin has basically the exact same specs as a Switchback except for its mass weight. Can't see too many people trading in Switchbacks for that one.

"MO_Bow can you say sheep, BAAAA! BAAAAAA! It doesn't matter what mathews puts out, It could be made of Cow patties and sell for $2000 and they would still think it was the greatest bow ever invented. That is not for anyone but i've found the Hardcore Mathews fans to be more this way than others brands followers. "

I must say I take exception to these type of posts and I also don't believe thatit captures the character of the Mathews buyers I know. I don't buy a Mathews because it is a Mathews...I bought mine because I shot everything else side by side and then selected the very best. Heck,I used to shoot the circuit for High Country and my dealer is not even certified Mathews. He is a BowTech guy. I shot it, and the Hoyt and the PSE, etc. Am I rich...no. Do I put a premium on buying the very best hunting equipment...yes. Why this assumption that Mathews buyers are stupid, or ignorant or robots, or whatever? Jealousy or sour grapes comes to mind...unless someone can provide a better explaination. Personally, I think there is a lot of nice equipment out there and I don't find it necessary to put any one else's choice down.
