That is awsome. I can only imagine the stories.;)

RE: What was your first?
My first was a doe at 8 yards she ran about 100 yards and fell over. I was shooting a bear kodiak @55#, a bear arrow rest, and the copper sights that came with the bow. Still have the bow today and it shoots pretty well.

RE: What was your first?
I was lucky. My first bow kill was a 120" 12 pointer. I begain bow hunting shooting at everything i saw. I missed probably 5 does before i began target shooting daily until i was confident with my shot. I then held out for a mature buck. I shot it with a Buckmaster Ultramag Compound Bow.

RE: What was your first?
My first bow kill was a button buck weighing 78lbs when I was 14 years old. Got lucky getting perfect shot at 34 yards.

RE: What was your first?
My first was a 2 year old 8-pointer. It was also the first time I ever rattled in a deer. He came right under my stand and it was about a 4 yard shot, not much of a challenge for my first bow kill!

RE: What was your first?
1998 I shot my first deer, a 8 point buck using a Bear Bruin bow.

RE: What was your first?
My first was a 9-point buck from the ground. First day of my second season, first time being in the state-park I hunted (and still hunt today). He walked within 12 yards of me, and I waited till he was about 17-yards (quartering away) before I released. He died right in front of me, about 35 yards or so. It only took a few seconds.
I shot him with a Darton Lightening Graphite, which I hunted with till just a couple weeks ago. I've got 5 deer so far and am more addicted to bowhunting than ever! |
