First Hunt of The season
i am so excited, i havebeen at college in iowa all fall. i have wanted to hunt in the midwest coming from southwestern ontario but baseball and school work have not allowed me to do that. also thecost of a non resident tag just isnt in my college budget. so i will be going home for thanksgiving and can not wait to get in a deerstand again with my hoyt in hand. i have been waiting for it since the end of last season. shed hunting, turkey hunting, even fishing in the summer were all great but i just cant wait to get back in the deer woods. i am counting down the days. even if idont see a deer it willl be worth it because any time spent in the wild is better then time indoors.
so for those who have been able to hunt all fall be thankful ,and wish me
luck because i am going to need it.

RE: First Hunt of The season
thank you i will be sure to enjoy, beeing away from it just for this long really has shown me that you have to enjoy it well you can. last year i really hunted hard and did not get a good buck with the bow, i passed a alot of young ones and missed by chance at a big one when i hit a wire fence and watched my arrow deflect and fly under him.. i was so disappointed. but i now i have realize that it iisnt always about taking a deer. its about time spent in the outdoors, and spending it with family and friends.
