Default What a great feeling!

I finally have the pic of my bow buck from the field.

The feeling I was referring to??..

I made a bad shot and was so worried we would not find this buck. I tracked him after a while, and eventually the blood dried up. You know that feeling of despair, anger, frustration, sick (never want to just wound an animal), sadness etc, that comes from accepting that you may not find the animal? 1/2 hour after losing the trail, I came across 1 fleck of blood, then one more, looked up a bit and saw him laying at the edge of a swamp!

I think I yelled so loud the does have just hit the Iowa border and are STILL running!

Good luck to you all

Way to go and stay after him. I went through all those same emotions last weekend.
Congrats.
