spraying rubber boots with scent spray makes them get a chemical smell?
do you guys spray your rubber boots?

I always have.

When I bought mine, they were really rubbery smelling, so sprayed them for like a week straight, everyday, with Scent Killer. They still smell the same, but the deer don't seem to mind. I've had several walk over my tracks without spooking. Sorry, this really isn't a good answer.

I spray the sides and top of my rubber boots with scent killer and the bottoms with deer dander and I never have a problem.

They're about the only thing I do spray.

I do the same thing Copper31 does and works real good .

I don't know about rubber boots, but I bought a new plastic container to put my camo in a few weeks ago. The first thing I did when I got it home was spray it down with scent killer. When it started drying, it left a white film on the plastic and stuck to high heaven.
