Were beating a dead horse with a log here. drop it. we all have our own ways of hunting and just because someone doesnt do it the way the other guy does most of us get irratated. I do bait once in a while, baiting is a great management tool. Sure you might not always get the monster, but most of us arent hunting for horns, cant eat the damned things anyway. Ive shot some nice bucks over bait and ive shot some nice bucks with out bait like the oneI got last friday. All I used was the growl no cover scent or anything.

Lol. Ok Daniel Boone. Ive hunted Michigan, its much easier than the planes states. You go out and stalk deer in open country with no trees, only grass. Ive done it, its very difficult, and wears you knees out. Until you do, you have no right to berate others in a totally different situation than yourself.


I still want you bad boys to put down your fancy compounds and start really hunting. I cant believe you guys hunt with compounds. Thats not hunting. Where is the dedication? Where is the true ability? Where is the true learning. There are books out there that will teach you how to use a real bow and how to shoot a real bow. A compound is nothing but an excuse for using an easy instrument. Lol. You guys kill me.


(For those of you just reading the last part of this thread, My second paragraph is not my true belief. Just trying to prove a point. But I do use traditional gear. You can use what you want, I really dont care.;))

Please elaborate? Fair? I see a pic of someone with a compound bow, how is that fair? 100% fair means mono-a-mono, one on one. No tools, now camo, no easy compound bow. If you would like to really see fair chase, get out of your tree, put down your bow, take off the camo, and get to chaseing. Until then, you are not 100% fair chase. By all the gripes here, a compound bow is not fair. I dont mean to bash you, just pointing out the idiocy of the use of the words, Fair chase. No hunter on this planet can take deer on a fair chase. We all use tools of some sort, and until the animals start to develope their tools, there is nothing fair about hunting.
