RE: Whisker Buscuit vs. Fall away rest
I was using a vital bow gear drop away, but I had it malfunction on me. A friend of mine using the same rest had his malfunction but he fell on his bow:(so its not the fault of the rest. I switched to a ripcord and I love it. For me its the way to go. Its easy as pie to adjust and works beautifully.
The only thing I would like different is if the "U" that holds your arrow was made out of aluminum instead of plastic. |
RE: Whisker Buscuit vs. Fall away rest
I shoot a WB on my bowtech. I like it while in the tree stand because you can move anyway needed and not have to worry about your arrow falling off or anything like that. With that said I'm sure the WB slows your speed down, but for most archers you wouldn't be able to tell a huge difference. It's all in preference I suppose. I'm goin to try a fall away on my new bow this summer.

RE: Whisker Buscuit vs. Fall away rest
Hello??? What the heck happened to normal prong-type rests. They've killed more deer than the whisker biscuits and every drop-away ever produced, combined.
Just figured I'd give a shout-out to the old-school oft-forgotten, TM-style, two prong arrow rest. ![]() I just poured a dribble of mountain dew into the trash can, "For the homies." This post goes out to the old school arrow rests that became second-class citizens and met an early retirement to the junk heap, just because some new-fangled inventioncame along. |
